With Connor McDavid, Leon Draisaitl, and Zach Hyman leading their offensive lines, the Edmonton Oilers are without a doubt one of the most lethal teams in the NHL. However, the Oilers' toughness and depth have drawn criticism.

The Edmonton Oilers, who recently suffered a 2-1 loss to the Minnesota Wild, are 16-13 overall and fourth in the Pacific Division, one point behind their Alberta rivals, the Calgary Flames. Ken Holland, the general manager of the injured Oilers, wants to add depth and toughness as well as some offensive talent.

According to NHL Trade Rumors, Oilers General Manager Ken Holland looks to have two players in mind to unquestionably tick those boxes: Blackhawks Center Max Domi and Flyers Forward Zack MacEwen. Domi, 27, has scored nine goals and dished out ten assists in 26 games this year. In 27 games so far this season, 26-year-old MacEwen has three goals and five assists.

Domi is one of the hardest players in the game and has always been a crowd favourite wherever he has played. He can play in your top six or bottom six and can contribute offensively. Although MacEwen is more of a third or fourth line player who can score a goal or two, he would make a terrific enforcer to guard McDavid and Draisaitl.
