Patrick Kane and the Blackhawks have been struggling this season, but after an offensive breakout against Columbus, Kane found himself adding another achievement to his impressive resume.
With this three points in the win against the Columbus Blue Jackets, Kane has tied Mike Modano at 2nd all time for U.S. born skaters with 3+ point games. After the impressive performance, Kane now has 103 3+ point games in his hall of fame career. Kane only needs 13 more 3+ point games to tie Pat LaFontaine's record of 116.
Barring major regression or injury, Kane should be in the league for the long haul, making this record seem very achievable.
