Even though when Patrick Kane arrived at the New York Rangers after the trade deadline, Fans noticed that the Rangers had a sluggish start and went 0-2-0 with Kane's arrival.
However, that's begun to shift after Kane and the Rangers held their first official practice which has led him to be at a point-per-game pace and the Rangers have not lost in regulation.
Interestingly, many fans thought this would not work as there would be too many superstars and not enough ice time to keep everyone happy. That does not appear to be the case.
In the last five games with the Rangers, Kane has scored three goals and three assists for a total of 6 points and he is a + 2 with two power-play points.
The Rangers require this to work as they have expended lots of capital to acquire these players and also face a long road in the playoffs as there are many excellent teams in the Eastern Conference.
Time will tell if this will be the case.
