Patrick Kane Speaks Out About Concerning Injury News
Patrick Kane got off to a rough start this season. He got on a hot streak recently, but this leg injury stopped him straight in his tracks. This was the injury:
Concerns have raised as the Blackhawks management stated this was a ''lingering'' injury that needs to be dealt with, and Sportnet's Elliotte Friedman was concerned that Kane may have to miss months time. Kane has already missed three games and hasn't participated in a full practice in weeks.
Patrick Kane was recently brought onto the Blackhawks Talk Podcast and was questioned on the factors of his injury, if he will be out long term and more. He didn't disclose too much, this is what he had to say:
How are you feeling, do you think you will miss a lot of time as some have questioned?
Its good, i probably shouldn't of played against Tampa, should have taken that one off, i could have played the last 2 but wanted to be cautious throughout this break coming up, i hope to be back soon. I don't think its serious enough to shut me down for a while, taking it day by day right now
This is huge news for Blackhawks fans, and i am sure a big relief for Kane himself as it's nothing too serious, though it seems. An injury would also affect Kane's trade value if he decides too leave, which would hurt the Blackhawks drastically.
