Philadelphia Flyers Hilariously Mock Tampa Bay Lightings Strategy (THROWBACK)
A long ago throwback of the 2013-2014 NHL season the Tampa Bay Lighting were not even close to near as good as their roster and in the standings like todays date, and they faced off against the Philadelphia Flyers.
The Tampa Bay Lighting were a smart strategic team at the time, but it was a little too obvious. The Lighting used a «1-3-1» strategy, which is where one forward sits middle forcing the other team defense to make a pass, 3 forwards sit middle/face off line or a little father back and one forward sits at their own blue line.
When the Lighting would face opponents and run this strategy it very well worked, of course that is to teams that did not get the clue that a breakout would be near impossible to create with a 1-3-1, aside from the Philadelphia Flyers who exposed the Lightings 1-3-1 strategy for a whole game.
