Nolan Patrick who was selected 2nd overall back in 2017 received a high hit from Nathan MacKinnon which sent him straight to the ice and did not return to the game.
Patrick has a history of concussions and migraine issues which caused him to never play in a full season, and completely missing the 19-20 season.
In the offseason Patrick was part of a three-way trade which saw him: - Per hockeydb.com
2021-Jul-17 Traded from Philadelphia Flyers with Philippe Myers to Nashville Predators for Ryan Ellis
2021-Jul-17 Traded from Nashville Predators to Vegas Golden Knights for Cody Glass
Let's hope Patrick is not out long-term and can recover from this! He is only 23 and has a bright future ahead of him.
