REPORT: Major News Regarding Kane and Toews' Future in Chicago
It has been the talk of the town regarding the situation with Jonathan Toews and Patrick Kane. Both are set to be free agents and both will be high end trade targets, but will they waive their no-trade clause?
For awhile it seemed as it were a sure thing that Kane and Toews would be leaving the Hawks, but now, not so much.
According to Scott Powers, of The Athletic, the Blackhawks don't seem like they will lose Kane and Toews.
There hasn't been anything that confirms whether or not Kane and Toews will waive their no-trade clause. But it doesn't seem like anything truly shows they are leaning one way or the other.
I think the only thing that is confirmed is that if one of them leaves, then the other will likely leave as well.
