This afternoon the Blackhawks announced they assigned three players to Rockford ahead of the all-star break. These players include forward Luke Philp, defenseman Filip Roos and goaltender Jaxson Stauber.
Philp picked up an assist Thursday night against the Calgary Flames, earning his first NHL point. He has 30 points (14G, 16A) in 31 games with the IceHogs. Roos hasn't played with the Blackhawks since Dec. 6, but he has seven points (3G, 4A) in 17 games with Rockford.
Stauber won both of his starts against the Flames and the St. Louis Blues; he has a .940 save percentage for the Blackhawks. He has a 6-4 record in Rockford this season with a .896 save percentage.
