The Chicago Blackhawks head coach spoke to the media this morning and spoke on a recent roster move that has been made..
The Chicago Blackhawks have sent defensemen Filip Roos back down to the Rockford Ice Hogs, Roos, who is 23 years of age was a ''sleeper'' signing by the Blackhawks. He has played in fifteen NHL games this season and has been with the NHL club full-time throughout practices and games, while he has also been healthy scratched at times, head coach Luke Richardson believes it's within best interest to let the 23 year old defensemen go soak up some minutes for the Rockford Ice Hogs.
Richardson on Filip Roos
«He had a great start. Really intelligent guy and always open to feedback. He's excited to go play more minutes and more consistently. When there's a time we need him back, he can be ready to go, rather than be in and out.»
