Referee Reveals He Was Paid to Make Embarrassing Speech During Last Nights Game
The NHL has contradicted its own league, after stating last nights two games were the seasons opener. Despite the Nashville Predators AND San Jose Sharks playing two games against each other 5 and 6 days ago.
Before puck drop, the referee made a cringeworthy announcement on his microphone to appreciate the �'opening night''.
The video has gone viral since it was on social media, not for a good reason but for it being quite �'cringy''.
Footage shows the referee speaking with Lightning defensemen Victor Hedman about the speech, and mentioned he was told to do it by the NHL, and wouldn't discuss how much he got paid (in a funny way)
