Sidney Crosby Leaves The Game After Injuring Himself During a Hissy Fit
The Pittsburgh Penguins have been on a absolute tear as of late, they had quite the rough start to the season but have went on a five game winning streak since, after getting dominated in a loss to the Toronto Maple Leafs by a score of 5-1, they flipped the switch.
The Penguins five game winning streak has came against some top teams this season like the Winnipeg Jets, Minnesota Wild and also the Calgary Flames, but it all came to an end this past Saturday.. and to no other team then the Toronto Maple Leafs!
Throughout their loss on Saturday, Maple Leafs forward Mitch Marner scored a goal while Sidney Crosby was on the ice, Crosby immediately headed to the bench and threw a little ''fit'' after getting scored on, and once he sat down on the bench.
It was all caught on camera and a little funny to see, but Penguins fans quickly started to worry after what happened..
After his ''tantrum'' Crosby headed to the locker room with an apparent injury and would not return for the rest of the period. Crosby would later return and announcers stated it was an ''equipment issue''.
Crosby was asked about it during post-game interviews, and played it off smoothly.
