Within a few weeks after drafting Connor Bedard in the 2023 Entry Draft, General Manager Kyle Davidson went to work to find veteran players who would help the young budding superstar by insulating him and helping him grow as a player in the new league.

As expected, it's been nothing but a media whirlwind for the North Vancouver native, as he has been interviewing interview with every media outlet in North America. These media discussions and interviews did not go unnoticed by veteran Blackhawk forward Taylor Hall.

Hall, who was also the first overall pick in his entry draft, understands what the hype is and how it can be suffocating, especially when you're trying to find your legs and routines with a new team.

During a media scrum, Hall weighed in on how Bedard has been handling the pressure and the number of interviews he's been doing over the past few weeks.

"It can be a little much for him at times. He doesn't say that, but it feels like it is."

"I think he's handling it really well," he added. "He does way too many in-game interviews and stuff. I think they need to find a way to just let him play"

As the hype settles and subsides over the next few weeks, as the Blackhawks start to enter the grind that is the NHL schedule, it will give Bedard a chance to focus on what he needs to improve and continue to grow and shine as the player everyone thinks he will be.
