When it comes to the Arizona Coyotes it has hockey fans wondering how they are actually still in the NHL.

The Coyotes where at one time a very good franchise and had fans at their games. However, the past decade at least it's seems the Arizona Coyotes have been rebuilding but never manage to get anywhere.

The Coyotes where evicted from Gila River Arena for not being able to keep the bills paid forcing them to join Arizona State University to share the arena with their University Hockey Team, just when you think the Arizona Coyotes couldn't get any more embarrassing they prove you wrong.

Today the Arizona Coyotes General Manager Bill Armstrong announced today that their new ECHL affiliate is the Atlanta Gladiators. So, what's the issue?

The Gladiators play in Gas South Arena, which seats 13,000 for hockey. Mean while the Coyotes will be playing Infront of just 4,700 fans this season.

Meaning their East coast affiliate team has nearly 3 times the capacity that the Coyotes will have this season in the "Mullet Arena".

"We are very pleased to once again partner with the Atlanta Gladiators as our new ECHL affiliate," said Coyotes GM Bill Armstrong. "The Gladiators are a first-class organization with a loyal and passionate fan base. We look forward to working with Gladiators President Jerry James and Head Coach Jeff Pyle this season."

"We're incredibly excited to be partnering with the Arizona Coyotes and the Tucson Roadrunners as our NHL and AHL affiliates," said Gladiators President Jerry James. "The Coyotes organization has done a phenomenal job developing young players, and we're thrilled to be a part of that pipeline."
