The Blackhawks Are Trending Over Social Media - But Not For The Right Reason
The Chicago Blackhawks are bad, we already know that. We also knew that attendance was going down the last few years since the dynasty has come to an end.
Well, the United Center has officially hit rock bottom as there looks to be more empty seats than fans at Sunday's 1:00pm puck drop against the Kraken.
Afternoon games typically have less fans for almost every NHL team, but this is way below average for Blackhawks attendance.
It sure doesn't help that Blackhawks are in the top-10 of most expensive NHL fan experiences. Not many people want to drop a couple hundred bucks on a Sunday afternoon to watch a couple poor teams go at it.
It has been almost two years to the day since the Blackhawks historic sellout streak came to an end, and it sure seems like a new streak won't be getting started anytime soon.
