The Blackhawks haven't signed Connor Bedard to an ELC yet
The Chicago Blackhawks have selected Connor Bedard as the 1st overall player, and they are eagerly awaiting his arrival to play professional hockey for this original 6 team.
However, before this can happen, there is a formality that both the team and Bedard must finalize.
Bedard hasn't signed his ELC yet 👀
It's because he's 17, and can't actually sign until he's 18
(I'm assuming your joking around)
Bedard needs to sign his entry-level contract with the team, but he hasn't signed it yet.
The reason is that Bedard is still 17 and cannot sign an entry-level deal with the team that drafted him until he turns 18.
But there is nothing to worry about as Connor Bedard's birthday is on July 17th, and he will have plenty of time to sign the contract.
