The Chicago Blackhawks Send More Players Packing After The Minnesota Wild Game
As a result of an injury sustained during the Blackhawks' overtime loss against the Minnesota Wild, prospect Samuel Savoie was sidelined. Keeping the team in the game would require other prospects to step up.
With players like Cole Guttman, Mackenzie Entwistle, and Ethan Del Mastro making their presence felt on ice for the night, the team decided to cut the training camp roster once more.
The Blackhawks announced that forwards Antti Saarela, Marcel Marcel and Michal Teply, and defenseman Nolan Allan have been assigned to the Rockford IceHogs. This resulted in them sending players like Antti Saarela, Marcel Marcel, Nolan Allen and Michael Teply away to the Rockford Ice Hogs who weren't able to contribute much to the team's performance.
As we enter October, with the 10th just around the corner, it is highly likely that the team will find its regular season roster.
