The Chicago Blackhawks have another Dach brother in the works
Chicago Blackhawks once had high hopes for Kirby Dach, even drafting his brother. However, Colton Dach is now making a name for himself in Chicago after Kirby's departure to Montreal.
Colton has been successful in the Juniors, leading the Seattle Thunderbirds to the Memorial Cup Final with a game-winning goal last night.
His overall numbers in the WHL are better than Kirby's, with 155 points in 166 games compared to Kirby's 129 points in 133 games.
Colton also has more playoff points with Seattle, tallying 14 points, including 3 goals and 11 assists. In comparison, Kirby only had 8 points in 10 playoff games.
Colton is proving to be a valuable asset for the Hawks and has the potential to continue his success in the future.
Dach was selected by the Chicago Blackhawks in the 2021 NHL Entry Draft, 62nd overall in the 2nd round.
