Corey Pronman of The Athletic provides insight into prospects league-wide and reports regularly on the topic.

According to his ranking of current NHL prospect pipelines, the Chicago Blackhawks were highly ranked, compared to last year.

There were comments that said the top two teams shouldn't be there, and I think Pronman may be overrating the Anaheim Ducks' pipeline at #1, but he has the Blackhawks at #2.

Aside from Frank Nazar and Kevin Korchinski who were taken by the Chicago Blackhawks in last season's draft, Adam Gajan, Oliver Moore, and Connor Bedard were selected by the team in the 2023 draft.

As we can see here, Pronman clearly sees the talent there, but with Leo Carlsson in the line-up, do the Ducks really have the top prospect pool? Do they really have that much depth? Honestly, I don't think so.
