For all of you readers around the world, Steven A Smith is a huge name in America when it comes to sports. Some even say he is the biggest name in all of sports. He works for ESPN, and since NHL was coming to ESPN, he did a mini hockey segment, which eventually turned into him talking about every playoff game.
Him talking about hockey is huge, as he conducts most of the sports world in the United States. Smith roasted hockey's biggest name, Connor McDavid in the process, but it was a nice little segment. Granted, he had no idea what he was talking about, and no way nailed it on the 1st try, and A even said it himself he had no clue what he was talking about. They even brought in former player PK Subban to talk about the Stanley Cup Final games between the Tampa Bay Lightning and Colorado Avalanche. Him and Subban have great chemistry, and it is so fun to watch the two of them talk about hockey. Steven talking about hockey could bring a lot of eyes to the sport.
It's hard to watch and cringey for hockey fans, but it isn't a bad thing.
