The Worst is reportedly Confirmed For Former Blackhawk Kirby Dach
Montreal Canadiens forward Kirby Dach has had a tough season, being plagued by injuries and a possible concussion once again. Dach was unable to participate in the shootout during the Canadiens' recent game due to being required to complete concussion protocol. Despite starting overtime, he was only able to complete one shift before being forced to leave the ice and return to the dressing room for further evaluation.
Dach has been 'cursed' since beating the Blackhawks in the shootout, and showboating to the Blackhawks fans:
This is not the first time this season that Dach has been sidelined by injury, having already missed time due to a wrist injury earlier in the year. The young forward has been viewed as a rising star in the league, but his injury struggles have certainly hampered his development.
The Canadiens will undoubtedly be hoping for Dach's speedy recovery, however, the team will also be cautious and prioritize Dach's long-term health over any short-term gains.
