This Blackhawk has emerged as a major trade candidate
Recently, Scott Powers of The Athletic covered a number of trade candidates for different NHL teams as part of a recent article.
According to Powers, former Stanley Cup champion Tyler Johnson may be one of those players who could generate interest among the Blackhawks if he has a good season, as he mentioned.
It could be said that his last NHL season was a return to form for him as he recorded 12 goals and 32 points in 56 games during the 2022-2023 season.
There is no doubt that he has proven himself to be a solid middle-six forward and could serve as a viable depth option for a contender in the future.
The deal could be advantageous to Kyle Davidson and the team if they decide to retain salary, as they could gain some assets in exchange for a player who may be able to play somewhere else on the third line and second power-play unit.
Do you think he will be moved before the trade deadline?
