Zegras' play at the National team program, warranted an offer from the Terriers, after he posted an impressive 25 goals, 47 assists for 72 points through 58 USHL games.
After two seasons in the USHL, Zegras took his talent's to Boston, playing 33 games during his rookie season, scoring 11 goals, 25 assists for 36 points in his lone NCAA season.
During the 2019-20 season, also the Anaheim Ducks prospect's rookie season in Boston, Zegras put up nine assists through five games at the WJC's, finishing his year sporting his team USA's home colours.
Zegras begun his 2020-21 season with a bang, cracking the opening night Ducks roster, getting his first taste of NHL action in the form of 24 games, scoring three goals, 10 assists for 13 points. The young American's sophomore season was his 'coming out party, of sorts' as Zegras scored the Michigan goal, earned an otherworldly assist on a Sonny Milano tally, and starred at the All Star weekend festivities in Las Vegas.
The Bedford, New York native played 75 games during the 2021-22 campaign scoring 23 goals, 38 assists for 61 points.
The young American also recently graced the cover of EA Sports NHL 23 video game cover.
