Although Bedard does not have living arrangements in Chicago that we are aware of, there is no doubt there are plenty of teammates who would be happy to open their homes to him if he needed accommodation.
Due to the upcoming season kickoff, former enforcer Cam Janssen offered his advice to the youngster as he prepares for the new season.
Janssen, who was primarily an enforcer in the league, split time in his career between the AHL and NHL during the course of his career, is now running a podcast to share his experiences. The podcast is called "Cam and Strick" where he gives unsolicited advice to Bedard.
It has been suggested that Bedard shack up with a "coug" shortened for a "cougar" who would take care of him, feed him, and house him, as well as take care of his needs as he goes.
That probably would be sound advice, if he did not already have the support system around him that he already does. Although this advice sounds dated because it came from a time when there was a need to make things work on a shoestring budget for journeymen and enforcers of that time period, the 80's without a doubt.
