'What's The Point' Says Jonathan Toews in Heartbreaking Interview
Chicago Blackhawks captain Jonathan Toews revealed that he is currently battling pain and considering the possibility that these may be his last few weeks with the team. The three-time Stanley Cup champion has been out of the Blackhawks lineup for quite some time due to long-term COVID symptoms, which has led to speculation about his future with the team.
Toews opened up about his situation, saying, «Regardless of what happens in the future this summer, it's definitely on my mind that this could be my last few weeks here in Chicago as a Blackhawk.» He added, «I feel like I have much more to give with my experience. But when day after day is just you're just pushing through pain. It's just like, to what end?»
Toews has been a vital part of the Blackhawks since he was drafted in 2006, leading the team to multiple championships and earning numerous accolades along the way. While his future with the team remains uncertain, Toews' dedication and contribution to the Blackhawks will always be remembered.
