Will this veteran defenseman be gone by the trade deadline?
With only a month left until the trade deadline, what general manager Kyle Davidson is planning to do, if anything, eludes Blackhawks fans. A lot of trade rumors are circulating Jonathan Toews and Patrick Kane, but there are also whispers of teams wanting multiple Blackhawks defensemen. One of the players at the top of that list is Jake McCabe.
Teams such as the Toronto Maple Leafs, Los Angeles Kings and Edmonton Oilers have been linked to McCabe. Most of the rumors are centered around the Leafs' interest in him.
McCabe has 14 points (2G, 12A) in 45 games with a plus-minus of 2 this season. He plays on a line alongside Seth Jones. Whether he'll stay or go by the trade deadline is unclear.
