Team USA Reveals Roster For 4 Nations Faceoff Tournament With Sweden, USA, Canada and Finland Revealed
Team USA has officially announced their roster for the upcoming 4 Nations Tournament being held in Montreal at the Bell Centre, and in Boston at the TD Garden.
America's best, like Auston Matthews, are highly anticipated to make an impact and are excited to rep their country.
"There's so much talent to choose from," Said the Leafs captain. "It's just really exciting we are going to have the chance to represent the country again."
The roster featured renowned names, but Patrick Kane, deemed one of the best American Born players of all-time was left off of it.
Canada's roster on the other hand, had Connor Bedard missing from it, an interesting choice, but not surprising due to his production-lacking season thus far.
Team Finland on the other hand, features Blackhawks forward Teuvo Teravainen.
NHL commissioner Gary Bettman is quite happy over ticket sales, of course he is, more money in his pockets that are already overflowing.
"Ticket sales are brisk. To the extent there are a limited number of tickets left, they're going quick. They make good stocking stuffers. But the excitement is palpable, not just among fans, but among the players. And that's one of the reasons why we brought back international best-on-best. We know how important it is to our players to represent their countries and so we're really looking forward to it."
Wait.. good stocking stuffers, Bettman said?
Yes, a $1500 stocking stuffer is sure a 'great' present, jeez Bettman.
Last but not least, Team Sweden's roster was announced.
The puck will drop on February 12th and will conclude with the championship game on the 20th.
