While he will be busy recounting his time with fans in the city, he was recently asked about his future with the Blackhawks during an interview.
Hossa said he has been approached about taking a role in the team's front office.

While he loves the community and the Blackhawks organization, he would have trouble finding the time to devote the right amount of time to the job.
It wasn't a no, but he said he's busy with his company and his family, so it wouldn't be fair since he wouldn't be able to commit, as he likes to give 100% to any effort like his on-ice game.
Over the course of his career, the Hall of Famer has played 1,309 NHL games, scoring 525 goals and assisting on 609 assists for 1,134 points.
Lisa Dent will host the event on March 14th, with proceeds going to the Ross K. Macneil Foundation, which aims to end pediatric brain cancer.
