Connor Bedard shares an important message on social media

Connor Bedard will be making a major announcement this weekend before the IIHF World Championships.
The IIHF World Championships will be taking place in Prague, Czechia on Saturday for Team Canada as they compete against Great Britain on May 11th.
In April of 2023, Bedard signed a partnership deal with Sherwood Hockey to produce a line of Sherwood sticks for the Blackhawks superstar.
The Blackhawks center started playing with Rekker Legend sticks and gloves on the ice.
However, it seems like the two have something new brewing as they will be announcing news before the puck drops in Prague on Saturday.
What is it?
It seems like, it may be a new product drop, but for now, all can we do is speculate.
Acquired by Canadian Tire Corporation in 2018, Sherwood has been repositioning its brand and modernized product line with a new generation of elite players since 2020. According to Sherwood's news release, "Bedard joins a dynamic roster of world-class players including Matthew Tkachuk, William Nylander, Alex DeBrincat, Quinton Byfield, Emily Clark, Artturi Lehkonen, Saroya Tinker, Connor Brown and Savannah Harmon."
