It might not be as bad as the Chicago Blackhawks season, but the Philadelphia Flyers are in the middle of a disaster themselves.

The team fired GM Ron Hextall just over a week ago and hired former Minnesota Wild GM Chuck Fletcher.

One of Fletcher's first mandates as new GM is to solve the ongoing Flyers problem between the pipes which has been a headache for almost a decade now.

NHL insider Elliotte Friedman mentioned Corey Crawford as a possible solution.

In his latest "31 Thoughts" column, Friedman labeled Crawford as a solution with the Hawks' possibly looking to the future.

Crawford will be a free agent after the 2019-20 season and carries a cap hit of $6million until then.

The Flyers currently have one of the best prospect pipelines in the NHL and would probably be willing to give one or two up for immediate goaltending help.

Would you be willing to sacrifice Crawford in the rebuild?

The Hawks' 33 year old goalie carries a 10 team no trade clause.
