Edmonton Oilers star Connor McDavid harassed and touched by fans on live video
Edmonton Oilers star forward Connor McDavid harassed by group of fans after game 6 win
The Edmonton Oilers superstar, Connor McDavid, and arguably the best hockey player in the world was harassed by Oilers fans following his game 5 win against the Dallas Stars.
McDavid and his wife Lauren made a beer run to celebrate advancing into the Stanley Cup final, and both their personal spaces were clearly breached.
This video is going viral online that shows a group of Oilers fans evading McDavid and his wife's personal space as he's attempting to unload cases of beer into his trunk of his own car.
Surprisingly, he is one of the highest paid NHL forwards and his wife does not have security when in public. They expect to be treated like regular people, but after this instance and I'm sure others in the past that have not surfaced on social media, security will be considered.
McDavid will surely think about being with security, as he should.
