Former member of Canadian NHL organization suddenly passes away at 44
Saddened news plagues the hockey world with passing of former Winnipeg Jets coach
Richard Bue, a former member of the Winnipeg Jets' AHL affiliate, the Manitoba Moose, has passed away at the age of 44.
The Manitoba Moose, his former AHL club, shared the following statement online:
"The Manitoba Moose and True North Sports + Entertainment are heartbroken by the passing of former Moose video coach Richard Bue. Our friend will be dearly missed by all those who had the fortune of knowing him. Our sincerest condolences go out to Richard's family, friends, and teammates."
Multiple fans shared how much of an impact Bue had on them, and it really shows the kind of person he is.
You could not meet or know a better person than this man. Even if you saw him for only 5 seconds, the rest of your day was instantly better. Heartbreaking that he has passed.
One of the better humans I have ever had the opportunity to be around. Put a smile on my face every time I saw him.
