He will wear 3 specialized masks, that represent different characteristics of Minnesota, the Wild, and iconography related to the state. These masks sound just as illustrious as his legendary career.
The first mask features, a growling bear, showing his teeth ready to attack, with the logos of the other three sports teams in Minnesota on the side. The Minnesota Vikings, Minnesota Twins, and Minnesota Timberwolves logo are featured on both sides.
The birds and trees, are there to symbolize the wildlife in Minnesota, along with flowers which represent Fleury's nickname.
Mask two is identical but with a white color scheme instead of green.
The third and final mask prepared for Fleury by Griff Bush designed for Fleury is more minimalist but is just beautiful as well. It has a white base with a bold "M" on each side painted green, but outlined in yellow.
The color scheme of course beckons to the Minnesota North Stars, which played in the state from 1967-1993.
The masks themselves are unique due to the fact they signify different parts of Minnesota sports teams, wildlife, and history.
Fleury, himself is known as one of the best personalities and teammates in the NHL, so it follows that he would wear such perfectly designed masks, the details echo the precision he has on ice.
These words describe the legendary goalie, and two words to describe his career when we say goodbye to one of the classiest goalies and humans in the NHL.
