Angela Price, famed Montreal Canadiens goalie Carey Price's wife made a sad announcement on Instagram today. The Price family was in Spokane, Washington, and cast doubts upon the former goalie's chance of returning to Montreal.
Due to a family tragedy, Carey Price and the family were in Spokane, Washington mourning Price's Aunt Laura.
There had been talk of Price returning to Montreal for the team's last home game against the Detroit Red Wings, but that seems doubtful given Price's family emergency.
It wasn't under the best circumstances, but it was a nice visit to Spokane. It was a beautiful service for Aunt Laura.

Price in recent years had signaled a return to the organization, slowly but surely taking part in important events, such as the NHL Draft, announcing a draft pick.
