Game canceled following tragic convulsing scene on the ice in the QMJHL with Justin Blais

A horrifying scene on Friday night after Blais got into an altercation which lead to him falling on the ice and smacking it with his head in an unfortunate scene. Blais started season, according to reports, and medical staff had to tend to him. He was later rushed to the hospital, and the QJMHL decided to end the game and wipe the time remaining off of the clock.

"A very concerning scene in Baie-Comeau: the head of Justin Blais from the Olympiques hit the ice as he fell during a scuffle. He went into convulsions and had to be taken off the ice on a stretcher. Fortunately, he was conscious as he left. Thoughts are with the Olympiques."

Thankfully for Blais, in a swift turn of events, he had sent a photo to the team, the Gatineau Olympiques, and thanked fans at the same time.
