There is key information surrounding the 2025 NHL Winter Classic. According to Ben Pope from the Chicago Sun Times, The Chicago Blackhawks will be hosting the Winter Classic next season at Wrigley Field against St. Louis Blues.
Even though the Blackhawks are currently the worst team in the league, they are an Original Six Club that brings in esteemed rookie
Connor Bedard. This will be Bedard's first winter Classic which will draw in a substantial amount of viewers.
Blackhawks and the Blues are known for their rivalry against each other, so having them face off against one another again outdoors seems fitting. In 2017 during the Winter Classic at Busch Stadium in St. Louis, The Blues won the contest 4-1 in the final score of the game.
The Blackhawks will be playing an outdoor game for the seventh time. Out of the six games they have previously played, five out of six of them were losses. The Blues were victorious in their two outdoor games. Lets see if the Blues can keep their win streak against newcomer Bedard and the Blackhawks at the 2025 Winter Classics.
