NHL veteran of 1,000 games makes with decision with Swiss club
Finnish NHL veteran Valtteri Filppula played 1,056 games with the Detroit Red Wings, Philadelphia Flyers, Tampa Bay Lightning, and New York Islanders.
He landed in the CHL to play 3 years with Geneve-Servette HC, from 2021 to 2024.
After 3 years with Servette, he decided to part ways in a mutual agreement.
Servette played 51 games in the CHL this season, with 11 goals, 22 assists, and a TOI of 18:35.
The 39-year-old's last season in the NHL was in 2020-2021.
