Stan Bowman's Revisionist History On "What Chaos Podcast"
While the Chicago Blackhawks did win three Stanley Cups, under Stan Bowman, it's questionable that Bowman gets to get the benefit of all-three.
As in 2010, the Blackhawks were fresh off of Dale Tallon's tenure on the team and had arguably built the core, which Bowman rearranged yearly to attain championships up until 2015.
However, the "WhatChaos" podcast may be revising history in a far too generous manner for Bowman.
Bowman's track record in Chicago isn't so great either:
Bowman's drafting and development record also fell off a cliff after the Blackhawks' last championship in 2015. Only seven players that Bowman drafted after 2015 have played over or near 100 NHL games, as opposed to the fourteen such players that he drafted between 2010 and 2014.
Bowman doesn't have much to stand-on as many of his prospects drafted before his exit are in the AHL and some may crack a lineup just yet.
But with Kyle Davidson the ship has been put on a course-correction, and the team is already looking better since his arrival.
