The Chicago Blackhawks recently lost an asset to their team due to unfortunate circumstances and he might be out longer than expected.
Connor Murphy, a defenseman for the Chicago Blackhawks, recently endured a groin injury at the 2025 Winter Classic, causing him to be absent for the past couple weeks.
Due to this injury, Murphy has been put on a day-to-day basis and has not been involved in the Chicago Blackhawks practices or games whatsoever, soon; Murphy will be placed on retroactive injury reserve, dating back to the date of the Winter Classic.
