It's no secret... Chicago Blackhawks defenseman Duncan Keith is headed to Edmonton. However the deal is far from official as the two sides attempt to work out the return and iron out the details of the trade. We've got some interesting updates thanks to NHL insider Frank Seravalli. "Whatever Edmonton had on the table, my understanding is one or more of those pieces has since been removed and Edmonton has basically offered a more or less take it or leave it type deal."Seravalli added that the Oilers have made defenseman Caleb Jones available but one of the bigger problems is the Hawks refuse to retain any salary on the trade. Fellow insider Elliotte Friedman also had an update, Friedman says that the Hawks were interested in Ethan Bear and/or Ryan McLeod but the Oilers have no desire to move them. Friedman adds that both sides just want to get the deal done. "There's definitely a desire for finality."
