It's a sight you'd only see in Canada but as the Edmonton Oilers prepared for Game 6, several Oilers fans took to the streets and drove a Zamboni down the roads.
The Oilers have stuck to their plan and have not given up in this series. After facing a wall against Sergei Bobrovsky who appeared to be invincible in the first few games, that wall has now crumbled, and the Oilers have now put sixteen goals past Bobrovsky in the last three games.
The Oilers are also getting excellent contributions from their third and 4th lines which are making a difference for the teams outcome and have stifled the Florida's bottom 6 forwards.
The city of Edmonton has been in a party atmosphere for the past several days as the Oilers have turned this series around and turned it into a true battle. As the Zamboni drove down 104 Avenue holding the Canadian flag and an Oilers flag, the fans were just dancing on the back of the Zamboni and trying to get the street buzzing for the game.
NHL reporters and insiders who have followed this series in the respective cities are saying that the entire Edmonton area is not working.
It turns out, that their good fortunes continued as the Oilers defeated the Panthers 5-1 and are now heading back to sunrise for the final showdown of Game 7.
