Former Blackhawks and current Edmonton oiler Corey Perry threw a temper tantrum in the penalty box after receiving a call he did not agree with.

The play occurred in the second period with one minute and 52 seconds remaining and the Florida Panthers up 4-1 in the game. He was ejected, due to there only being 52 seconds left in the second period.

Referee Steve Kozari made the call against Perry as he sat on Panthers goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky which led to a goaltender interference penalty. Perry was heated and could not believe he was called to which Kozari told him to sit down as he finished the penalty calls.

After Kozari was done, Perry went into full meltdown mode and dropped many F bombs and lots of profanity against the referee including throwing his gloves in the penalty box while Panthers Sam Bennett sat and waited for the game to resume.

The referees ended up deciding to send both players back to their respective dressing rooms as the period was nearly over but Perry continued his rage and tantrum as he smashed the Oilers bench door while leaving the ice.

The situation for the Oilers looks dire as the team now sits 0-3 in the series as they lost 4-3 in game 3. The Panthers continue to dominate the Oilers in certain ways that it appears the Oilers cannot overcome especially weak and poor defence.

The Oilers have one more chance to stay alive as game four will take place on Saturday June 16th and game time will be at 8:00 PM eastern.
