The Calgary Flames have been a down-sliding franchise ever since the Edmonton Oilers defeated them in the playoffs, and this off-season is set to be a complete re-structuring process to their roster.
It has been known for weeks that Flames goaltender Markstrom would be on his way out, but today we learned where he is headed.
According to a report from Travis Yost and NHL insider Frank Seravalli, he is heading to the New Jersey Devils.
Markstrom has a whopping 485 career games under his belt, split between the Calgary Flames and Vancouver Canucks, totalling 215 wins in those games with 20 shutouts.
