The Chicago Blackhawks have become a haven for former Bruins players in recent years. Craig Smith, Nick Foligno, and Taylor Hall have found a home here.

But what if Kyle Davidson could secure the ultimate prize, in Jeremy Swayman who is at a stalemate in negotiations with Bruins management?

What would it cost Kyle Davidson and the Blackhawks?

Considering it would take an offer-sheet, and the recent controversy involving Doug Armstrong, it'd be epic to see the Bruins meltdown.

"I've read what people have written. If there's a rule that says GMs can't make hostile offers, no one has emailed me that," Armstrong said. "There's no rule. I've talked to a few people in the league ... there's a mechanism that exists."

What would it cost?

Well, considering Jeremy Swayman's next contract is projected from $8 Million to $11 Million + it would be a hefty fee from Davidson and the Hawks.

While the Blackhawks may have the sauce to make the trade, as it'd be for a contract upwards of $9.62 Million, it'd be two 1st-round picks, plus a second and third-round pick attached to acquire Swayman.

Even for a team like the Blackhawks, the cost is too high, considering you need a talented prospect pool and assets to move for later in the rebuild.

Even at $9 Million, the Boston Bruins would match the Hawks, so it's worth a shot if you wanna break the internet, like Armstrong did.
