Roman Kantserov is a hidden KHL gem of the Blackhawks organization
The Chicago Blackhawks selected Roman Kantserov 44th overall in the 2023 NHL Entry Draft.
He plays for Metallurg Magnitogorsk in the KHL and is getting playoff experience this season.
Despite being a raw talent, he has been described as an intense, fast playmaker.
However, he has some silky mitts, not only being a great passer but against Lokomotiv Yaroslavl he finished a sick, backhand, almost Michigan-style goal.
The Metallurg MG did put up a fight and would lose 5-3 to the Lokomotiv in the KHL Conference Final.
He has been described as a future top-nine winger, who could play multiple roles up and down a lineup thanks to his versatile capabilities.
