Boston Bruins Brad Marchand makes major admission to media

Major news hits the playoff aspect of the hockey world as Brad Marchand took full part in the Bruins morning practice, after missing multiple games due to a punch that went unnoticed by referees from Panthers Sam Bennett.

The Bruins fought to live another day after they won game 5 a few days ago, and now captain Brad Marchand looks to win game 6 with his team Friday night in Boston at TD Garden.

Marchand addressed the media following practice Thursday, and made a big revelation that we've never heard players in the playoffs talk about, here it is:

«People don't wanna say it but part of playoffs is trying to hurt every player on the other team, and the more guys you take out, the more advantage your team has.» - Brad Marchand on Sam Bennett injuring him.

«On that play, obviously I'm not trying to punch him in the head like everyone's saying,» Bennett told the media. "Other people can have different opinions. I'm just bracing myself for him coming to hit me. There's no way I would have had time to think about punching him in the head. People can see it however they want. It's playoff hockey. There are going to be hard plays. Obviously, it's unfortunate he got hit, but that's just a hockey play in my mind.»

With Marchand back and the Bruins fighting to stay alive, Friday's game 6 between the Bruins and Panthers will sure be one to leave fans on the edge of their seats.
