Connor Bedard has made a huge mistake tonight against the Calgary Flames, as he accidentally gave them the man advantage tonight.

At 8:04 in the 2nd period tonight, he incurred a penalty, by slashing Duston Wolf's glove prior to the end of the play.

This would give the Calgary Flames a man advantage, which the team, who is literally on fire would score on.

Andrei Kuzmenko and Jonathan Huberdeau would connect on the powerplay to give the Flames a 2-1 lead.

Connor Zary was a secondary assist on the power play that has cemented the Flames' dominance on the ice tonight.

In what seemed to be a close game at first, has since evolved into a situation where the Blackhawks again find themselves behind, by a goal.

Let's hope they don't slide into complacency after defeating Connor McDavid and the Edmonton Oilers.

Nick Foligno of course, taking note from Bedard, would commit another crime at 13:32 into the 2nd period with a slashing call on Jonathan Huberdeau, but fortunately, the Blackhawks penalty kill was able to shut down the Flames lethal power-play.

Connor Bedard tonight has 4 shots on goal, while his linemate Nick Foligno has been more productive, scoring 1 goal on 2 shots tonight.

Bedard has shown his ability to forecheck tonight, which has been a positive tonight, but can the Blackhawks rally tonight in the 3rd period again and come back to defeat the Calgary Flames?

It is imperative that one of these rebuilding teams finds its identity in the Saddledome, and I'd prefer it be the Blackhawks with Bedard and Foligno leading the way.
