Every NHL season always has one player who emerges as the most sought player at the March trade deadline, and it will likely be Blackhawks forward Taylor Hall.

Last years season for Hall was a disaster as he remained injured for most of it and Blackhawks fans were not able to see what he could bring to the table as he was signed to help Connor Bedard. Fast forward to this season at hall is currently healthy and ready to make an impact with the Blackhawks which could also bolster his value at trade deadline.

Hall has been slowly gaining his composure and his legs as the 32-year-old former first overall choice of the Edmonton Oilers has a goal an assist through six games. His best season in the last five years has been with the Boston Bruins in 2021-22. During that year he played 81 games, scoring 20 goals with 41 assists for 61 points and was a + 11 with 42 penalty minutes.

General manager Kyle Davidson hopes that Hall could recover some of that glory as Davidson is trying to move the needle and get the Blackhawks moving on with their rebuild in hopes of starting to make noise as a playoff team.

The Blackhawks have significant work to do to get to that point and the team is currently filled with young prospects with the Rockford ice hogs and has a series of veterans that were signed including Nick Foligno, Tyler Bertuzzi, Teuvo Teravainen and Hall.

Of course, anything can happen between now and March but for the time being Blackhawks fans hope Hall can regain his scoring touch and give the home fans something to cheer about and show that he still has what it takes.
