Blackhawks Sophomore Defenseman Gets a Taste of Racing
The Chicago Blackhawks' top-pairing defenseman has other hobbies, besides being a beast on the blueline, with Seth Jones.
It's the off-season, so the rookie defenseman, who just secured a 6-year bag with the Blackhawks for $27.6 Million found a love of racing.
He got to meet up with RFK Racing personnel when NASCAR was in Chicago for the street race.
RFK Racing is run by Jack Roush and has drivers of such note as Brad Keselowski and Chris Buescher.
Vlasic would get the privilege to meet up with the team, of which the hometown kid got to take home a crew shirt.
Welcome to the crew, Alex
@c_buescher

Alex even got his own Fastenal crew shirt to join the No. 17 crew 🫡
Unfortunately, the hometown kid, couldn't deliver luck as Brad Keselowski finished 18th and Chris Buescher 20th in the standings.
But, who knew that Vlasic was a NASCAR fan? Now we all do!
