The 1st overall pick in the 2023 NHL Draft has secured a Calder Trophy and the hearts of millions of fans in the NHL.

But, Bedard has been a lifelongVancouver Canucks fan, of which after tonight against the Seattle Kraken, he'll play on Saturday.

With it being a homecoming game, there'll be a chance for family and friends to show up to the game. This means Bedard will have to shell out the cash for tickets.

Bedard wouldn't get intothe specifics but:

«Nothing crazy, but I'll be paying to play for a day,» Bedard said, per Ben Pope of the Chicago Sun-Times.

He wasn't able to play in Vancouver last season, due to his jaw being broken. An injury that kept him out of the lineup in his hometown, and sidelined. So he never had to worry about it, until now.

But the 1st overall pick in 2023, has to consider what kind of cash he'll payout this Saturday. While his salary isn't chump change, tickets for the Canucks, and the best kind undoubtedly have to be expensive.

The amount of people Bedard will be paying for to see him play could range into double digits if we consider who he could invite out there.

And with Bedard being one of the faces of the NHL, there'll be a high demand for tickets in Vancouver, one of the best franchises in the NHL.

In the meantime, he'll have to tidy up hs game, as he's only scored four points in his last seven games.

«Definitely not playing great the last little bit, so I'll try to be better," Bedard told Rob Couch of The Hockey News on Tuesday. "Earlier in the year, I was making a lot of plays and was pretty dangerous out there. Lately, I've just been less of an impact and not really making a difference.»

The Blackhawks roll into Vancouver on Saturday, with hopes they can vanquish the Kraken back into the deep and have a better record than 6-9-1.

The price tag could become larger if he can't stifle Rick Tocchet, and the Canucks this weekend.
