General Manager Kyle Davidson spoke at the NHL Combine in Buffalo today. One of the topics were focused on Patrick Kane and the possibility of him being brought back next season.
Davidson responded saying it was unlikely that the Hawks would go down that road again, really marking a new chapter in the franchise.
This upset many fans as they were hoping to see a Connor Bedard and Patrick Kane pairing on the first line.
Kane had 47 points in 50 games this year. He reunited with former Hawk Alex DeBrincat. Bedard had 61 points in 68 games on his Rookie of the Year campaign. The two of them would've clicked together.
Either way, Davidson has to look to get Connor a linemate. You have to uncover his full potential sooner rather than later.
